Responsible conduct is deeply rooted in our Company’s history. In 1912, we introduced the first 48-hour working week in Hamburg, in 1930 we introduced environmental protection and occupational safety measures, and in 1938 we established a Company kindergarten. This tradition of entrepreneurial responsibility lives on today and is an obligation for the future.
